  Niels Rani was a Knight (Ridder), and is known to have been a councillorof the realm (Rigsråd) in 1308. Niels Rani died 1315-1316, executed bythe order of King Erik. According to the Rundetaarn database Niels Rani was married to EtleAndersdatter, and that Etle was the mother of Niels Olufsen Bild's wife.And that Etle is the daughter of Anders Nielsen and Gytthe PedersdatterUlfeldt. And that Gytthe is the daughter of Peder Vethus ThrugotusVædder (Ulfeldt) and Cecilie Jonsdatter Litle. However, the date for this information do not add up. In order for EtleAnderdatter to be the mother of Niels Olufsen Bild's wife, she must havebeen born before 1270. Which means that Gytthe Pedersdatter Ulfeldt musthave been born before 1255. If Cecilie Jonsdatter Litle's father JonJonsen Litle was born circa 1230, this means the Cecilie could not havebeen born before 1245 - she would have been under 10 years old in 1255!This information places Gytthe and Cecilie as contemporaries.
